Travis Allen created the concept of the iSchool Initiative in 2009, upon receiving an iPhone for Christmas. After attempting to use the device in class as learning tool, his teacher instructed that he quit using the device because it's considered a "cellphone". Frustrated with these limitations that restricted his creativity, Allen formed a concept around mobile learning and established the iSchool Initiative. During his freshman year at Kennesaw State University (KSU), Allen discovered Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), an organization whose slogan is "A head for business, a heart for the world." Since its inception, the iSchool Initiative team has expanded to over 25 members, and Travis' early concept turned into a reality. Today, the iSchool Initiative continues to support the movement for change in education and is a leader in the Digital Learning Revolution. http://ischoolinitiative.org/
